Declare War on Mexico

 Boycott All Traitorous Businesses
Back to Full Blog

While I think it's a great idea to declare war on Mexico, I realize that in the current political climate it's not gonna happen anytime soon. A large part of the problem, however, stems from the fact that traitorous companies are hiring these people, evading taxes, lowering the mean wage and generally undermining our economic system. Therefore, I call for a boycott on all companies that hire illegal aliens. I'll start with Tyson foods and the Gallo Winery. I've decided to start with these two companies beacuse they were both closed on "A Day Without Illegals" Day, effectively admitting that illegal aliens are a large part of their workforce. In this thread I welcome any posts that can name any and all businesses that hire these foreign invaders. Please be specific, it doesn't help to say that we need to boycott the construction industry, we all know that the industry supports illegal immigration. Rather, post the specific companies, i.e. ABC Construction, and I'll also accept links to websites that have similar lists as well. I don't censor my blog, you can say whatever you want but this thread will only have posts relating to companies that hire illegals. If you want to rant, use another thread because if your ranting has nothing to do with this boycott it will be deleted. Additionally, I would like the specific addresses of fast food restaurants and the like who hire illegals, not the entire chain. In other words, I know McDonalds hires illegals, however not all of them do and since they are independently owned and operated it isn't fair to group somebody in with the rest if he or she has the conscience to hire only American workers. It also isn't realistic to boycott an entire chain, but the individual restaurants could feel a real impact. I have big plans for this list in the future, but we've gotta start somewhere.

Sad, very, very sad... have you ever considered channeling your energy into something positive???? Have you not learned that "asshole" crosses all lines.... race, creed, age, sex? Therefore, you should be able to focus more on the HUMAN race... what criteria would you use for criticism if we were all turned inside out? "Look at that guys veins... what an unworthy piece of crap!" Give me a break people! How ridiculous to judge on one's heritage... SAD, oh so SAD! My husband spent 20 years in the US Navy defending people such as yourself so that you could have this "freedom of speech"... at least consider putting your energy to good use.... Macey

Your husband, like it or not, was defending our borders, as I was in the Air Force, and I applaud him for it. Once again, emotion trumps logic for all the do-gooders. Do you have anything constructive to add, or are you just gonna tell me how evil I am?

Furthermore, I don't care where the illegals are from. It just so happens that the biggest part of our illegal population is from Mexico, so they get most of my attention. They also are the most vocal group of invaders, so they will continue to be the focus of myself and many others like me. It also happens to be a fact that a majority of folks legally in this country think something should be done about the current invasion underway as we speak. I'm truly sorry that the wife of a veteran is more than happy to give up the sovereignty of the country, but as a veteran myself I happen to think that trying to preserve this nation is one of the most constructive things I could be doing.

How on Earth will you be able to tell which workers in a given business are legal immigrants vs. illegal?

How are you going to be able to tell which vegetable or steak or chicken or gallon of milk you buy in your local grocery store was harvested or processed by a legal immigrant or an illegal one?

Or you only go to businesses when they "illegals" are not working that day? How can you tell?

So, you won't go to Wal-Mart, you can't buy produce or meat, most fast food chains and car washes are out of bounds too. How about building a house? Do you check ID's of the guys putting a new roof on your house?

I am very curious how you can back up all those "fighting words" coming out of your pie hole?

So far, you are batting zero with me.

All bluster, no facts or meaningful ideas. Just anger and hopelessness seem to be your thoughts.

Good luck with that.

Wow, buddy... you've got porblems. If you are going to base your oppinion on somebody by thier ethnicity than you must be a verry shallow person. I fought for this country so that people like you can abuse your freedom of speech by bashing people for leaving an unsanitary country in search for work and a living fr their family. You may bring up people who have welfare and food stamps and decide not to work, but you will be surprised to hear that %85 of these people are single white mothers who genuenly need asstistance, the other %15 are scatted among ethnic backgrounds not excluding a white majority who do not need or deserve it. In short, I am almost sorry that I fought for a country filled with people who have racist oppinions like you.

So, what's your bleeding heart's idea? Give everyone citizenship to this country that wants it? Have 6 billion people sitting in the United States. Maybe we should just raise the Mexican Flag and call it quits... Or you can give it your damndest. Go for the obvious Mult-Million or Billion Dollar Corps. that you KNOW hire illegals. Go to American Owned Gas Stations. Go to companies, like the one I work for, that requires paperwork up the wazoo, to prove that you are an American Citizen (which all that paperwork isn't actually that much). Don't go to sleezy companies.I am not the owner of this blog, but I own a blog very much like this one, and while I'm not a genius, I'm pretty sure that the owner didn't write this for your criticizms or attacks, but for people who want to help stop Illegal Immigration.

By the way, I'm not only talking about MEXICAN illegals, but ALL illegals. No one race is better than the other. I have a lot of respect for Mexicans, Europeans, Asians, Africans, everyone that comes to this country illegally. They are great assets and will go far. As I posted in my blog, the issues are illegal citizens. While I'm not in the Armed Forces, I lost friends on 9/11, a grandfather in WWII and family who came over to Ellis Island, and still couldn't eat. Let's remember something else. Originally, this whole place belonged to Native Americans. Not Mexicans or Europeans. That was then. This is now. We move on. Technology and life progresses. We don't hang out in the past. This is a country now. A country with borders and people that the borders need to protect. We purchased the land for millions of dollars, when back then it was acceptable jut to take the land from the person that lost the war. Can Russia demand Alaska back tomorrow? Let's get real. All americans ask is that people who want to come to this countrydo it legally. That's all. It isn't stop immigration. Its stop Illegal Imigration. Why should some people not haveto follow the same laws that the american taxpayers follow? Why should they just surpass what other immigrants had to do? Do they think that they arfe better? That would make them racists. You don't know what the people you are talking to look like. Most likely, we are all different colors, sizes, religions, and shapes. All different genders, and political parties. How can you say we are racist against the Mexican people? Mexican's who came here legally, don't like illegal immigrants. Try looking up the organizations who say that the illegal protestors don'y speak for them. Many are Spanish Organizations. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. NO ONE.

That's the problem with all this.

I want to see a border policy that controls immigration too. I just think a wall won't really work to solve anything, much less the underlying problem which is a very poor and corruptly governed country smack dab next to a very prosperous and reasonably honestly governed country.

But we have laws that we do not enforce because it appears that Business interests do not want them enforced.

It seems to me if we enforce our current laws then the lure of the "high paying job" in the USA would be lessened. If we can get instant credit using a social security number in a department store, why can we not provide a fast and electronic way to verify a social security number for a job applicant? If Macy's, Target and Wal-Mart can do it why not our Government? After all, many point out that we spend billions overseas, let's take some of that and do the right thing. Provide a fast way, using exsting technology, to verify social security data. And then we enforce the heck of it and fine business that do not follow the Law. Employers who hire illegals are also breaking the Law, why are the district attorneys and law enforcement personnel not going after those who lure these workers into the USA with promises of jobs?

There is a middle ground, and it is not just letting the border be open and a joke. But emotional name calling and wall building won't solve the problem.

We need to remove the lure, enforce the law and use all our tools to do so. But we can't do it halfway, the companies large and small who hire illegals need to face snactions if they are going to change their behavior.

I agree, and back you fully. There needs to be a middle ground. Not only illegal aliens need to be prosecuted, but the businesses too. They are the ones luring the illegal aliens to us. We NEED to enforce current immigration laws. BUT, we can't pass laws making it easier to get into this country illegally. The DA's and law enforcement appear to be ignoring the issue (except that sheriff's whose website everyone should visit. His blog isn't working but just visit his website itself!). The businesses, if they get into trouble to begin with, just get a slap on the wrist. I recommend visiting wehirealiens.com. It's a great site where people post photos and information on companies that hire illegals. You may be surprised to see some of them! You can also do a company search, or report a company.

Local law enforcement is not the one responsible for border control. It is a Federal responsibility that has been shirked by Congresses and Presidents of both parties.

We have a 19th century border management style that is not meeting the needs of the 21st century. Instead of funding pork barrel how about we tighten up how we manage the border and disaster management. We seem unwilling to spend money on border enforcement and disaster relief while we give the Paris Hiltons of the World a tax cut and spew billions in foreign aid to countries that may need help. Hundreds of millions for bridges to nowhere in Alaska, $700 million to rebuild a railroad line that damaged by Katrina and was already repaired for $350 million in Mississippi but now Casino interests want to change that and force you and I to pay for it. Who runs America? They with the most bucks it appears...and they don't give a rat's behind about you and me.

Great posts from both of you! No arguments here, except to say that while a wall may not be the be-all end-all answer, it sure could do some good in the short term while we're waiting for Washington to pull their collective heads out, (don't hold your breath...) and the border fence project has my ten bucks. I'm not confident that immigration reform via Washington is a good idea anyway. I'm just cynical enough to think that it's just a bunch of talk before they grant blanket amnesty.

Well what's up w/ Dunkin Doughnuts when I go to order they can't understand basic English. Then they have the balls to get mad when you try to help them understand what it is you want. Also it isn't only the Mexicans,we also have alot of Chiness,Coreans, people from India that can't even speak our language.I'm from Philly & didn't have a problem w/ the sign that was put on the Geno's steak shop. I thought this was a country that has a amendment that grants us fredom of free speech. What are they going to try to take from us next our freedom to love whomever? OPPS my bad, they are already telling us who we should love or the right to die.OPPS here I go again.THey are doing everything to take our freedom. But when it comes to illegal people in this country, that will never change because that keeps therich, richer and the poor, poorer.this makes our gov'n people have to hire Americans that are legal to work,& make them pay more to Americans which they know will make them pay more taxes & provide health insurence to it's workers. We most really take a stand for our rights.
