Declare War on Mexico

 Let's quit fooling ourselves
Back to Full Blog

Let's just get it over with, acknowledge that it's an invasion, and declare war on mexico? The land we have from the treaty of guadalupe hidalgo is ours only if we are willing to fight to keep it, just like any patch of land owned by anyone anywhere. Apparently they won't honor the treaty they signed, so that means we are still at war. Let's roll!

You know what? You're the kind of person that I dislike so much. You disgust me. Ha, you think all immigrants are Mexicans? You are so wrong. Do you not know that there are immigrants coming from all over the world, entering through Mexico, Canada, and Florida. No, it's not only Mexicans. I hate when people think that all latinos and immigrants are from Mexico. Guess what? My parents are immigrants, are they from Mexico? HELL NO!

You're absolutely right! We have illegals from all over the world including terrorist countries, but our primary supply of illegals comes from Mexico. Are you angry that I didn't include your country when I said we should declare war on Mexico? You didn't tell me where you are from, otherwise I could make an informed decision but as far as I know Mexico is the only government that tells its people how to sneak into this country. I admit that I could be mistaken on this, however.

True about it being Mexicans primarily, No I did not get angry with you because you did not mention where I am from. No, that has nothing to do with this. It's just that people treat them as criminals, yes they are, but you know that the punishments are sometimes worse than criminals out there raping kids, stealing, dealing drugs, and other stuff. OK, you said you wouldn't mind paying a bit more for your products picked by citizens, sure why not, the costs will add up, especially with the gas prices right now. Sure, go ahead send them all home. It sure seems that you care about how poor their countries are, how corrupt their government is. OK, no problem. Why not just shoot them all as someone commented today.

Right again, I don't care how corrupt their governments are. This government is corrupt but I don't see any other countries trying to help us. Perhaps we should send every illegal alien home with an M-16 and a few thousand rounds of ammunition and tell them to fix their own country. Read George Washington's farewell address. It says that we should avoid foreign entanglements and I think we should listen. Of course we shouldn't arm every illegal and send them packing. Let's just send them home, and hopefully the memories of living in a country that's less corrupt (even if only slightly) than their own will spark something in them.

Ah, but you could not read the sarcasm in my comment. I wrote a post on Immigrants, I think it's on pg2 of my blog. Why don't you go over there and have a read?
My url is: lifeinmyworld.blogstream.com

Or instead of going all the way down and clicking on pg 2, go under where it says Recent Posts, there would be one called Immigration.

Of course I read your sarcasm, that's why I left the reply that I did! I know you think I'm a heartless terrible person, but I just think it's not our country's job to save everyone, and to try tends to make people resent us, not grateful. Remember the tsunami disaster when the helicopters were handing out food and supplies and the people gladly took it while wearing osama bin laden t-shirts? Enough is enough.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Why is it so unreasonable to want to defend our borders, and to attack those who invade us? It is our patriotic duty to defend our borders. We have been invaded, you can call it whatever you like, but it IS most certainly an invasion. To those of you who say that they're just poor people that want a better life, is the reconquista movement a figment of my imagination? I think not. I also don't think that the reconquistas are in the minority, but that is one case where I am only stating my opinion from personal experience and not a cold hard fact I can back up. I also don't appreciate the double standard that the illegals get, and by this I mean why is it that they can yell "Viva La Raza!" at will, but if I were to yell "Viva the White Man!" I'm a racist? In fact, in some cities an American is a second class citizen compared to an illegal alien. Don't believe me? I lived in CO for a while and I had to have a drivers' license and insurance while illegals didn't even if they caused an accident. They weren't arrested, and I've heard this directly from police officers that were forced by department policy to let them go. I was also subject to housing occupancy laws, while the foreign invaders got a pass. If we declared war on Mexico it wouldn't even be an act of aggression, but only a response to an act of aggression.

OK, we'll sit back and watch the world go down. Yup (no sarcasm this time)

It's funny how people can take the argument that we should defend our borders from invasion and turn it around into an argument that it's our job to save the world. About half the world would like to live here and the other half would like to kill us. Maybe we should let them both have their way, after all, that would be the "nice" thing to do. If the world is gonna "go down", it'll be from all the one-world socialist utopian types. Has anyone taken the time to think of how violent the world has gotten since communism has reared it's ugly head? It wasn't until after Karl Marx's insane ramblings that this planet saw a world war, and MILLIONS of deaths at once. Wars used to be more localized, lowering the numbers of casualties. When you're trying to save your country the numbers of dead are limited, but when trying to "save" the world they aren't.

Don't know about the rest of you, as I have probably not been on this earth long enough, but I have NEVER seen a Canadian, Frenchman, Englishman, or German, being chased down by border control for going across our border illegally, unless they are criminals in this country or the country they came from. Here's a thought. Maybe the Canadian border is unprotected because Canadians aren't going to come here illegally, lower wages for American Citizens, and become a burden on our system. They are chanting in the streets about taking this country over, and that it belongs to Mexico. I agree with several of you. Only Native Americans are the original inhabitants. It IS an invasion. And finally Mexico didn't want this land before our forefathers set up our system, this place was inhabited, prospered, and eventually became the world's only superpower. NOW they want it back. What a coincidence. I agree. If we give it back, which we WON'T but theoretically speaking, we sure tear down the infrastructure, economy, and leave it like the piece of s*&$ desert land it was before as someone earlier posted.

Soooo, in conclusion. I am in the humvee next to you, soldier. Whether you meant declaring war metaphorically like with words, or literally.

Thanks for holding down the fort for me. The war has already been declared but most of the American people don't realize it. I think there's still some time for debate before it turns into a gunfight in the streets, but if we don't do something soon we may have a civil war whether we want one or not. I do think that there is still time to repel the invaders by strict enforcement of current laws, and anyone who says we can't simply lacks the foresight and can-do attitude that made this country the greatest nation on earth. I welcome the rants of the defeatists, because I believe in freedom of speech and I support their right to be wrong. This still is the greatest nation on earth, by the way, even with all its flaws and we got that way practically overnight in the grand scheme of things. We did this because we have Founding Fathers who decided, for the first time in recorded history, that the individual has dominion over the state, and it is our Duty to build a wall to protect this country even if the State refuses to do it. It is also our Right to declare war on an invading people with or without the blessing of a State that refuses to defend itself. This nation was built on self-reliance and I think it's a shame that as a whole we've lost that notion.

Below I've copied an email I received this morning. It pretty much says it all:

Today's Column

RECONQUISTA SHOWS ITS MIGHT

Bob Lonsberry Lonsberry.com

A half a million illegals and their supporters in one demonstration on the streets of Los Angeles.

A half a million.

From just Los Angeles.

That's roughly as big as any public protest or civil rights march in the history of the United States. And this was just people from Los Angeles.

That's how bad it's gotten. How frayed America has become and how the equilibrium of social and cultural identity has tipped irrevocably in some areas. Some areas aren't really in the United States anymore, and southern California is one of them.

The protest proved that.

Ten thousand in Milwaukee. Twenty thousand in Phoenix. Fifty thousand in Denver. Other tens of thousands all across the country.

Doing two things, primarily: Waving Mexican flags and claiming to have built America and to be the reason for its success.

It was an angry, entitlement reaction all across the country. They called this their land and said they wanted their rights and their freedom and their money and their respect.

A bunch of illegals.

An invading army of people who have flooded our borders and insinuated themselves into our society and economy. An army of people who drain America's prosperity through their disproportionate use of government services and their wholesale export of American currency.

They are the bird flu of demographic change.

They are the end of American sovereignty as we know it. Since the Manchus breached the Great Wall and the Vandals sacked Rome there has not been such an example of a mighty people being pillaged by a weaker neighbor.

The Reconquista is almost complete.

And with the house ablaze, the Senate will debate the installation of smoke detectors

After years of ignoring the gathering storm, the Washington politicians have decided to exploit our national cancer in an effort to seduce our votes and contributions. It is not likely they will do anything substantive or useful, but they will fan the flames of division and chaos in order to exploit their bases.

While ignoring the fact that both parties have been treasonously impotent on this issue.

The Republicans let illegal immigration roll forward unrestrained because it helped their friends who have tainted capitalism with their immoral greed. The Democrats let illegal immigration roll forward unrestrained because they believed they could claim ownership to the Latino vote as they have the black vote.

And the American mainstream was ignored by both parties. Duped by both parties. The interests of America were dismissed in order to serve the interests of the parties.

And now a half a million clog the streets of Los Angeles.

People who largely had no right to be here. People who any other nation on earth would unflinchingly deport.

People whose words betray a strong antipathy for the United States People who said over and over that the United States would be nothing without them. People who have not gratitude for this nation, but resentment.

Our guests have become our conquerors.

And the government's response won't be about the nation, it will be about the midterm elections.

Those half a million people sent a message.

That we will still celebrate the Fourth of July, but that we'll do it on the Cinco de Mayo.

The lion's share of Americans want secure borders, enforced immigration laws and America for Americans.

And the Senate is going to tell the lion's share of Americans to screw off. Just like the president has done.

In our Republic - in our representative democracy - the government is about to ignore those who can vote in favor of those who cannot. The value of citizenship has evaporated as we ignore those who have it and acquiesce to those who don't.

That's just the way it is.

And the politicians lack the spine or the integrity to change it.

The Mexican national anthem declares that "heaven gave you a soldier in each son." And so it is that an army of Mexican sons and daughters has come to occupy America.

And they don't intend to leave.

And we lack the stones to make them.

And thereon turns the fate of our nation.

If anyone's wondering why I haven't posted here lately it's because I've been working on my own blog host. It's finally done, (mostly) and you may see it at http://rantnation.com. Hope to see you there!
